AISI 4340 / EN24 / 34CrNiMo6 / SNCM439 Ni-Cr-Mo Alloy Structural Steel
4340 / EN24 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy structural steel with high hardenability, high strength and excellent toughness after quenching and tempering. Compared with 4140 / 42CrMo, the nickel addition improves toughness and performance in larger sections.
